Rates

These rates apply when your usage exceeds the allowances included in your plan. See the main pricing page for plan prices and included allowances.
Subscription fees increase by 5% at each annual renewal. Usage rates remain fixed for the duration of your term. Published usage rates may increase by no more than 5% in a calendar year, with any change applying to your account only when you renew.
Streaming delivery
Delivery is metered per gigabyte and priced in tiers. Volume is measured across your term.

Better rates find you. When your volume reaches the next tier, the lower rate applies automatically for the remainder of your term.

Content storage
Storage above your plan allowance is billed monthly on what you hold.

Live transcoding
Charged per hour of source input, encoded to 1080p30. Live transcoding is not charged when you encode on premises with a qualified encoder. Maximum input data rate is 10 Mbps. Ask us about higher framerates and resolutions.

File transcoding
Charged per minute of output produced.
$0.02 per output minute
Two multipliers can apply to that rate:
- 2× for H.265, or for frame rates above 30 fps. These two do not stack with each other — 60 fps H.265 is 2×, not 4×.
- 3× for frame sizes larger than HD.
The 2× and the 3× do stack with each other.

Live Chat
This usage rate applies only to accounts with the Live Chat add-on.
A monthly active chat user is a person who sends or reads a message in live chat during a billing month. It does not count viewers, app users, or people who hold an account — only people who actually use chat.
Live Chat includes 500 monthly active chat users.

Rates may be updated as described in Section 3.3 of the Terms of Service. All fees paid are non-refundable.
